Review on: Herbal Essence - Leave-In Split End Protector For Long Hair (the re
I'm a big fan of Herbal Essences; I use their shampoo and
conditionor (which I also reccommend). So it's probably not a big shock
that when I found the Split In Protector, I kinda freaked.
I'm
really mean to my hair. I mean really, really awful to it. I wash it at
least three days a week, then I blowdry, and after all of that I
straighten with my flat-iron (again the morning too). I also use a lot
of product- Paul Mitchell Super Skinny, Aussie Moist Creme, and Garnier
Fructise Sleek & Shine.
My hair comes down
about 6 inches beneath the bottom of my shoulder blade; the ends tend
to look terrible....but not anymore! I put in the Split End Protector after I shower, after I blowdry, and in the morning before I head out the door. Granted, towards the end of an eight-hour school day my ends are frizzing, but they look great the rest of the time. The packaging is cute, it smells great, and it works.
Pros:Smells nice, works wonderfully, lasts longer than most, easy to apply, cheap!
Cons:Cons: Have to use a lot at once, not always in stock (at least in my Wal*Mart), the cap won't twist and lock so I can't travel with it very easily
This is one of the best moisturizers. I love it. I sometimes use this prior to sealing with a coconut oil/jojoba oil. My hair is left in excellent condition. This is a great everyday moisturizer.
Pros:One of the best moisturizers for the hair Cons:
My hair has been thru alot of haircolor issues and now..I'm making sure not to ruin what I only have.So..I LOVE this product it left my hair very soft and smelling good.I do have to say that is so addicting once you get it..You have to get it again.
I'm very proud and will be a faithful women and purchuse this again.
Pros:Leaves hair soft and smelling great! I put it on everyday and a small amount goes a long way. Cons:Expensive but worth every dollor.
Review on: Aussie - Miracle Colour Insurance Leave-In Conditioner
Nice leave in conditioner that can be used on wet or dry hair.
I used it on my hair when it was both wet and dry and I really liked it. Really nice peach smell, makes hair lovely and soft and detangles easily.
I was slightly dissapointed that after about 2 weeks of using it I didn't see an improvement in my hair colour though. But it is a nice leave in conditioner and detangler.
Review on: Tigi - Bed Head, Ego Boost Split End Mender
I've been using this product from Tigi for months. Although I have only tried a few Leave-In Conditioner products but so far this is my favorite one . With a few pumps, It leaves my hair soft and shiny and it really does protect the hair from split end!
The smell is okay, a little bit strong though, but it's fine for me. The packaging also good, handy. I can say that I love the product and willing to purchase it again.
Pros:Protect the hair Cons:The scent is too strong for me
Review on: Profectiv Strength of Nature - Break Free Daily Leave-In Strengthener
This is a great moisturizing cream! It isn't
ultra thick and a little goes a long way. If you don't use too much it doesn't
leave hair weighed down or sticky. The moisture lasts for a couple of days and
it smells great. Contains lots of Extracts (Horsetail, age, Nettle)Soybean and Corn Oils, Glycerin, Collagen
Keratin, and Wheat Protein. It's $4.99 for 4oz, but occasionally they offer a
bonus 8 oz size for the same $4.99 price. I stock up when they have this
special.
Pros:Contains no Mineral Oil or Petrolatum Cons:Can feel sticky if you over-do it.
Review on: Profectiv Strength of Nature - Mega Growth Daily Anti-Breakage Strengthener Origi
It is very strengthening, great for
edges and ends. I wouldn't use this through the whole head as it would really
weigh the hair down. It is very strengthening and moisturizing though. Contains
lots of Oils (Coconut, Avocado, Jojoba, Olive, Flax and others) and Horsetail
Extract and Silk Amino Acids. It is very similar to the Africa's Best Organics Shea Butter and Tea
Tree Oil Moisturizer, only not as thick. A little goes a long way, and if you
over-do it, you will get the greases. It's $4.99 for 4oz, but occasionally they
offer a bonus 8 oz size for the same $4.99 price. I stock up when they have this
special.
Pros:Contains no Mineral Oil or Petrolatum. Smells great Cons:Can feel greasy if you over-do it.
Review on: Cantu - Shea Butter Leae-In Conditioning Repair Cream
This stuff is just the opposite of
the Cantu Shea Butter Oil Moisturizer for my hair. It only works on wet/damp hair.
On wet hair, it is very moisturizing, and strengthening. On dry hair, it weighs
it down and makes it feel greasy. This contains Shea Butter, Glycerin, Soybean
Oil, Panthenol, and Hydrolyzed Collagen and Soy Proteins.
Pros:Contains no Mineral Oil or Petrolatum, smells great Cons:Only works on my hair when it's wet/damp

sticky. A little bit goes a long way too. Contains Coconut, Olive, and Castor
Oils, Shea Butter, and Silk Amino Acids. $4.99 ($3.99 with a Sally card) for 8 oz @ Sally
BS
Pros:Contains no Mineral Oil or Petrolatum Cons:Only available at Sally BS (and it sells out very quickly)
Review on: Cantu - Daily Shea Butter Oil Moisturizer
This didn't do much for my hair when
used on wet hair as a regular leave-in, but it is a great oil
moisturizer for use on flat ironed hair. On wet hair, it was heavy and greasy,
on blow-dried and flat ironed hair, it moisturized and kept my hair soft without
weighing it down, and gave a great shine. I don't blow dry or flat iron often, but I will keep this on hand for when I do. Contains Shea Butter and Castor Oil
Pros:Contains no Mineral Oil or Petrolatum. Smells great Cons:Not good on my hair while wet hair
Review on: Organics by Africa's Best - Shea Butter & Tea Tree Oil Moisturizer
This is a thicker version of the
Liquid Hair Mayo also by Africa's Best Organics. It is very moisturizing, great for edges
and ends. I wouldn't use this through the whole head as it would really weigh
the hair down. It is very strengthening and moisturizing though. Contains Shea
Butter, Tea Tree oils, and lots of other oils (Jojoba, Soybean, Mink, Olive and
others) Egg Powder, Lactic Acid, Honey and Silk Amino Acids.
Pros:Contains no Mineral Oil or Petrolatum. Smells great. Cons:Only comes in a 6 oz bottle, occasional they offer an 8oz size for the same price as the 6 oz.

Review on: ApHogee - Pro-Vitamin Leave-In Conditioner
This is my baby daddy! I tried many other
leave-ins (and they were good, but not great) after I found out my beloved
Surge had been DC'd. Well after many trials, I finally found it! This is almost
as good as Surge, and definitely better than all the other leave-ins I have
tried. It instantly detangles, smells great gives my hair moisture, strength
and shine
Review on: Motions care at home - Nourish Leave-In Conditioner
This is a really good leave-in, it
detangles, and provides moisture. Smells fantastic too. Contains Vitamin E,
Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Keratin and Collagen Amino Acids
Review on: Dove - Sheer Moisture Leave-In Replenishing Mist
This stuff is awesome. Really conditions without weigh down and smells incredible. Always detangles my hair with no problem and makes it soft and smooth looking and feeling. Great stuff!
i bought this in hopes of giving my damaged hair some health again. Well i have to say that its a horrible leave in product. i used after washing my hair and put it in, went to bed, so my hair air dried completely by the time i woke up for the day. well my was STIFF and in KNOTS, and so i tried it again a few days later and its the same thing, i could hardly brush my hair, let alone straighten it. BAD BAD BAD
Pros:none Cons:consistincy, feel of hair after hair is dry, smell isnt that nice, just BAD
