Review on: Go Bare Skincare - Go Bare Skincare Sweetcheeks Sugar Scrub
Different from other scrubs I've tried.  It seems to be whipped!  I love the fact that the exfoliant and the base of the scrub don't separate.  Also the variety of fragrances is staggering.  They're having a sale now so I purchased a huge number of scents and can't wait till they get here.  Regular use has left my skin velvety smooth and soft.

Pros: a pleasure to use, big variety of fragrances, effective
Cons:

Another new name Katee?  However do you keep up with them all.  LibertyBelle is none other than Katee and a miriad of other names on forums across the internet.

I cannot speak of the scrub.  It's a base purchased through Essential Wholesale.

What I can speak of is the illegal business practices of Go Bare skincare (previously Bella Pelle).

I saw someone complain that this scrub was oily and I was totally perplexed.  It isn't an oil based scrub!  Makes me wonder if the reviewer had ever even used the product or was just looking to bash it.  Sad, eh?  Ah well, on to my review...

I don't like oily scrubs and I can't deal with salt scrubs or scrubs that make a mess in the shower.  For me, this scrub is perfect!  It's a cleansing sugar scrub and I have yet to try it in a fragrance that didn't make me swoon.  The packaging is so pretty and whenever I order from Go Bare Skincare I get so many freebies in my package!  Makes me really look forward to the arrival of my box.

So, I'm giving this my highest recommendation.  If you love scrubs, you have just got to try it.

Pros: leaves my skin soft and moist and smelling yummy
Cons: none!
Review on: Go Bare Skincare - Go Bare Skincare Sweetcheeks Sugar Scrub
These have to be the worst products out on the market.  They were super oily and the fragrance oils were not well incorporated.  What a waste of money, plus the owner was so rude when I politely emailed her to tell her what happened.  What horrible CS!!!

Review on: Go Bare Skincare - Go Bare Skincare Sweetcheeks Sugar Scrub
No matter the season, I simply adore scrubs!  I rotate a different scrub just about every day and since I've been doing that, the skin on my legs, arms, and uhhhhhh BUTT (lol) is perpetually smooth and sleek, even when I'm in a huge hurry and don't have time to slather myself with moisturizer of one sort or another.

With that said, though, I do NOT like scrubs that separate in the jar and leave a thick layer of oil on top and hard scrubbies - be they sugar or salt or whatever - underneath.  My answer, of course, was to switch to emulsified scrubs.  The only problem is that alot of emulsified scrubs just aren't very scrubby.  I was absolutely delighted to find this FANTASTIC scrub from one of my favorite etailers.

It's plenty scrubby, turns into a creamy, slight foamy lotion when massaged onto my skin AND it comes in the most delicious variety of fragrances on earth.  The only problem?  I can resist throwing one after the other in my shopping cart when I read the fragrance descriptions.  The result is that my vanity cabinet looks like a display for the brand!  Doesn't bother me at all.... it's my SO that complains.  I keep telling him it's a small price for him to pay since he likes my skin all sleek and whatnot.  Hehe....

This is really great stuff!!! its makes your skin really soft! really great for sensitive skin

its just like a shower gel but with small grains in it for a soft peeling effect

Excellent scrubs, goes on smooth, rinses off clean, leaves the skin very soft

Review on: Bodycology - Vanilla Buttercream Sugar Scrub
So, I got this because I heard Bodycology made good products.  I needed a new scrub, and was feeling too lazy to make a new batch of my own.  Maybe I should've!

My first mistake was not smelling this in the store first.  I opened it when I got home and received a nice whiff of Play-Doh!  Ugh!  So, I guess that was my biggest mistake... Not smelling it first.  I decided I'd still try it out because it's not like my lotion or perfume wouldn't overpower any icky Play-Doh smell.

So, I get in the shower and I'm all ready to be scrubbed smooth... Well, I was scrubbed smooth... But let me tell you!  It kinda "pools" together in a weird consistency.  Like flour that hasn't been mixed right, or has way too much wet ingredient added to it.

To boot, this has a greasy feel once it's washed off.  Not a nice "Oh!  I feel so moisturized!" smooth, but like you have a layer of Crisco on you!  And soap doesn't even want to sud up when applied afterwards!  Not to mention, the greasy film it leaves on the shower floor!

OH!  And the worst part... It clogs up the razor!  I washed off with soap before shaving, and whoa nelly!  CLOGGED my razor right up!  I did get a nice close shave, but damned!  You have to stop every few strokes to unclog your razor!

Anywho!  I don't recommend this at all.  I'm not sure if all of their sugar scrubs are like this, as I've only tried this one, which is the same one a friend has tried.  So, I might waste another $7 to try a different scent, or I might just make my own.  All I can say is, be prepared for something you may not expect/want!

Pros: Once you combat the greasy feeling, it does leave you nice and smooth; not overly expensive compared to most brands for a 16 oz. tub
Cons: Greasy feeling once washed off; clogs the razor; smells like Play-Doh
Review on: Bella Pelle Skincare - Strawberries and cream scrub
I adore scrubs and am always hot to try a new one.  This particular scrub from bellapelleskincare.com is definitely one of my new favorities.  It's an emulsified sugar scrub and in addition to using sugar and sugarcane extract as exfoliants, it is also loaded with strawberry seeds which, as I understand it, are excellent exfoliants.  It's VERY moisturizing and feels absolutely luxurious. It does a great job of exfoliating my skin, but it's gentle enough that I can use it everyday.  For me, that's a big plus because I find it thoroughly refreshing and I'm convinced that daily scrubbing makes my apres shower body products more effective.  It's great to use prior to the application of any self tanning product too.  The fragrance is very subtle and comes from the ingredients.  I like that because I don't want my scrub fragrance to interfer with whatever fragrance I might decide to wear that day.  This one is most definitely a keeper !!!

Pros: texture, feel, fragrance, and effect on skin
Cons: it isn't free
Review on: Neutrogena - Energizing Sugar Body Scrub
I love the citrus scent of this scrub, but as a scrub it is pretty disappointing. It dissolves pretty quickly so you don't get much of a scrubbing action from it. It is also oily and leaves a film behind on your skin.

Pros: energizibng citrus scent
Cons: dissolves too fast, leaves film on your skin
Review on: Dessert Beauty - Juicy
Would I buy this product again? It isn't just a "No". It's a HELL NO!!! I am pissed. I got this as a gift (some friend) from someone who thought this stuff was great (I am currently contemplating having her committed). Nevertheless, I don't know what makes me happier...realizing I am not in the minority here, or the fact that I managed to unload this hunk of cr@p onto an unsuspecting individual (the guilty conscience is over-ridden by the fact that I don't like the individual in question ;OP call it killing two birds with one stone). This stuff is nasty!!! 1. Scrub? what scrub the granules are so miniscule they are redundant. You are better off using a loofa or better yet using a friggin scouring pad. I am sure the experience will be more pleasurable. 2. You want a side order of fries with that LARD? YUCK *gags*!!!!! This stuff is so oily and slick the only image I get when I think about this product are those poor baby seals you see on the Discovery Channel that are victims to the oil slicks that are ruining our natural resources. This gunk isn't exactly hazardous material (although I wouldnt be surprised if it were) but I certainly almost killed myself in the shower when I tripped over the mess it created. I am HUGE on hygiene and cleanliness so you can imagine the time I spent cleaning the slime and the residue it left behind. Nothing more than a HUGE disappointment. This product is the epitome of everything I DON'T like. Slimy, greasy, sticky, chunky, sickeningly sweet, messy, and absolutely useless. It looks, smells, and feels horrible. I guess my "friend" missed the small print on the product before buying it... "Destroy Product Pre-Purchase - while you're at it sue Jessica Simpson and for punishment make her use her own cr@p".

Pros: None Whatsoever.
Cons: *See Review*
Review on: Bath and Body Works - Need a margarita? Citrus Body Scrub
OMG this scrub is absolutely the best I've ever used.  It's part of the trueblue spa line and it smells so good.  It smells really citrusy, so if you like lemon and lime stuff then this is for you.  There are sugar crystals in it that take off the dead skin and exfoliate.  My skin felt so good after using it.

Pros: Super Soft Skin every time you use it
Cons: NONE
Review on: Bella Lucce - Wildberry Body Polish
This is one of the most unbelivable scrubs I have ever tried! Actually, Im not a big fan of scrubs myself, but trying this makes you an immediate convert. The scent of berries is to die for, and the quality of the scrub is unbelievable! A must try for all scrub lovers out there!!

Review on: aloette - Spa Indulgence Organic Sugar Scrub
This is absolutely the best body scrub I have ever used. In fact, the whole Aloette Spa Indulgence line is heavenly. It is an all natural scrub with all natural oils such as sunflower, lavender, jojoba, and organic oranges. You only need a little bit, but it sure goes a long way. And Wow! Does your skin ever feel totally hydrated after you wash it off. You dont even need a moisturizer afterwards. Ive tried so many sugar scrubs, and this one by far surpasses them all. A little pricey, but if you get it on the shopping channel, you can get a heck of a deal!!!!!!

Pros: A scrub that actually does what it says
Cons: Pricey, but worth it
Review on: Origins - Origins Pomegranate Polish - Luscious Body Buffer
I tried this product for two reasons - 1) I love anything pomegranate and 2) I had a demonstration done on my hands at a Origins counter and loved how smooth my skin felt.   I liked this product because it did leave my skin feeling very soft and it didn't rritate my skin.  It has a great scent which isn't overpowering. However, there are some things about it that I dont like.  The scrub has some sort of oil in it which tends to float to the top.  It can be somewhat difficult to mix the scrub with the oil at times, especially if you are in the shower and in a hurry.  Also the jar that it comes in is very heavy and makes it somewhat diffucult to hold it with wet hands.  I had a difficult time openin up the jar.  Last, because of the color of it, it can stain your bath tub if you do not rinse all of it away.  I would recommend that this product used when you have the time to pamper yourself.

Review on: aloette - Spa Indulgence Organic Sugar Scrub
This body therapy scrub is oh so revitalizing, not only aromatic, but leaves your skin feeling amazingly smooth, silky, moisturized, soft and renewed!

The organic botanicals penetrate your skin to revive and replenish from within.  Includes essential oils of sunflower, lavender, jojoba and organic oranges.

Draw back is the price.  Personally I wouldn't pay this price, but the product is wonderful.

Pros: moisturizing, smoothing, silky, skin renewing, refreshed
Cons: too pricey for my liking
Review on: L'Occitane - Verbena Body Salt Scrub
I received this product as a gift.  I was very excited as I was aware of the reputation of this high end brand.  First the packaging was very nice.  The scrub comes in a jar with a screw top and a small wooden scoop for removal of the product in a nice carton.  Upon opening it I was very pleased with the fragrance, a nice citrus blend.  I used this in the shower and it is very thick salt scrub in oil.  I used it all over my legs and arms.  Due to the thickness it is a little hard to rub smoothly on your body.  I rinsed and my skin did feel softer and smelled nice so it did accomplish it's purpose.  However, when I was applying it my sensitve skin turned quite red and my tub floor had a residue as it is very oily.  For these two reasons, I would not repurchase this product.  I prefer a softer body polish in a gel base like Bare Escentuals "Escentual Body Polish".
Verbena Harvest - Verbena Salts Scrub : Salts from the Mediterranean Sea combine with the refreshing fragrance of pure extracts of verbena, orange, geranium and lemon tree in a luxurious exfoliating body scrub. Essential oils of grapeseed, apricot and sweet almond nourish and moisturize. Anti-oxidizing vitamin A helps to tone and maintain healthy appearance. Skin turns silky-smooth as dead skin cells are massaged away. Body and mood feel revived.

Pros: citrus fragrance, high quality product
Cons: a little harsh for sensitive skin, oily, residue in tub,
Review on: Totally Juicy - Hot Apple Sugar Body Scrub
This is a nice scrub.  I bought it after reading a section about it in a magazine.  I don't think it "heats up" as it claims to.  However, the sugar particles do a fine job at exfoliating for the price.  The smell isn't bad either; it smells like apples.  Overall, I think it's a good deal.  When I run out, I plan on getting a St. Ive's scrub instead because this is nothing to write home about.

Pros: price, does an okay job at exfoliating, doesn't smell bad
Cons: doesn't heat up
Review on: St. Ives - exfoliating apricot

Review on: Bath and Body Works - Island Hot Spot Warming Body Scrub
This body scrub smells so wonderful and works! When you rub it in, it instantly heats up and helps to slough off dead skin. After you rinse it off you skin feels silky and smooth. Made with sugar and coconut extract and has a wonderful tropical smell. I would recommend this product to anyone!

Pros: listed
Cons: pricey
