A lot of people prefer the dazzle dusts to the Fine Glitter Dusts and although I agree I still don't think the glitter dusts are bad. They have a nice texture and theres always lots of glitter and just like the dazzle dusts they come in lots of great colours! I got opal which is a black/very dark green powder with emerald green specs of glitter. If used alone the glitter tends to fall off more easily however when I used it on top of a black eyeshadow pencil the glitter stuck and the colour was lovely!
Pros:Price, texture, colour, glitter, great when used on top of a eyeshadow pencil or shadestick. Cons:Can't really be used on it's own or the glitter falls off.
Winter Berry is one of the newer shades from Barry M and it's a lovely mauve/violet colour. As always with the Barry M Dazzle Dusts great texture, great pigmentation, can be used both wet and dry (used wet gives a more vibrant result but can also be more difficult to blend) and blends well. Barry M always has a brilliant range of colours and I'm really pleased with this one. As always there's the problem with the dreaded fall out so you may have to retouch the foundation on your cheeks slightly after using the dazzle dust (not so much a problem for me because my foundation is powder rather than liquid so it doesn't really stick).
Another great dazzle dust! I'd really recommend it!
Pros:Texture, pigmentation, price!, colour, quality. Cons:No big cons really!
Great eyeshadow! Really cheap and I loved the colour. You can use them wet or dry and although the colour is more intense when it's wet it's also harder to blend with over colours. Nice amount of shimmer and nice pigmentation. Stays on all day too!
Only problem is the dreaded fall out across your cheeks you get from loose powder eyeshadows. I find it's best to apply 3 thin layers than 1 thick layer because you'll end up with the dust all over your face.
Pros:Great colour, shimmer, price!, stays put all day, great to blend, can be used wet or dry. Cons:Doesn't blend too well when wet, very hard to avoid getting it all over your face.
-One of my favourite Barry M pigments. This is so beautiful when applied with a damp brush! This is one of the pigments out of my collection that is a "better" version of Parrot. I do actually prefer this to Parrot. It lasts really well throughout the day, virtually no fading.
-Barry M pigments are one of the best discoveries I have ever made! You get an absolutely packed jar of pigment, the quality of which is up there with MAC pigments. And the price is fantastic! There are also around 80 colours available!
-I use this a lot for smokey looks. You can sheer this out in your crease for a really fantastic smokey eye, or you can use a damp angled brush and apply it as a sparkley black eye liner. Lasts well without any creasing. Can fade slightly when applied and sheered in the crease.
A very good eyeshadow even compared to the more expensive ones, this stays put for ages once applied, blends easily and doesn't crack. The colours are very good and visible, especially Mushroom (which looks like MAC Shroom) and Charcoal (which looks like Urban Decay Oil Slick, or MAC Black Tied). The tiny little pots contain a surprising amount of shadow, and I love the faff- and fuss- free packaging: pot, shadow, lid, and that's it. I would definitely recommend it, and am planning on buying more from the range (I already have Mushroom, Charcoal, Old Gold, Black and Cherry.)
Pros:Very visible and easily blended, even on oily lids. Cons:None.
BarryM makes
gorgeous loose eyeshadows at a very affordable price. They are intense
in colouring and there are over 80 shades to choose from. Peony (I think no 32) is a pink/purplish shade, kind of similar to MAC Stars n Rocktes. It looks amazing paired with MAC Parfait Amour and Blacktrack fluidline. If you have BarryM
available near you, I strongly recommend this brand.
BarryM makes

available near you, I strongly recommend this brand.
BarryM makes gorgeous loose eyeshadows at a very affordable price. They are intense in colouring and there are over 80 shades to choose from. Silver Brown (no 51 I believe) is a greyish/purplish brown, which is quite subtle. It looks lovely paired with lavenders such as Stila Key, or you can combine it with darker purples (like BarryM Dazzle Dust in Cherry or MAC Nocturnelle) or dark browns or even black. If you have BarryM available near you, I strongly recommend this brand.
ive used many different brands when it comes to nail polish. and they all have good and bad qualities but i havnt found any bad qualities when it comes to barry M nail paint. the colours are bold and have amazing staying power this brand does not enforce its non chip quality but they should as it goes on liquid smooth and has a natural gloss to it. the polish seems to move with the natural flexibility of the nail so it doesnt crack and chip away. the packaging is very nice and the price is great too. i suggest the deep purple or the bright red. the colours dont have individual names but they are so unique you should know which ones im talking about if you look for them.
Pros:amazing staying power and shine Cons:havnt found any yet
These come in such an amazing array of colours. Can be applied once for a colour wash, or built up for more intense colour. They stay on for ages! They're very very sparkly though there are some colours I have found ie. the neon pink and red which have a much more matte effect.
They blend wonderfully.
Pros:cheap and cheerful fun colour Cons:the small pots can be difficult to get brushes into
It's the easiest way to use glitter as an eyeliner that I've ever found. With this chunky pencil you just draw it on. It lasts fairly well, although if I'm wearing it out I will take it with me for a mid-evening touch up, and it also comes in a range of other colours including gold, pastel shades and black.
Pros:Easy to use, inexpensive Cons:Not bad for staying power, but not as good as some
This is a strongly-pigmented loose powder shadow with added glitter. It's easy to apply and can be put on subtly for a gentle shimmer glow or slapped on for a strong, sparkly look. Great value. Comes in a sturdy glass pot with a screw top that travels well -- it won't come unscrewed if you carry it around in your bag.
Pros:Inexpensive, lots of other shades to choose from if copper's not your thing Cons:None really
Dazzle Dusts are great, inexpensive loose powder shadows that give intense colour. This is one of my favourite shades but there are so many to choose from you'll almost certainly find more than one to suit you. It comes in a robust little glass pot with a screw top
