Makeup Foundations - Crème L'Oreal

Review on: L'Oreal - Age Perfect Makeup
I'd seen a few commericals on TV for L'oreal Age Perfect foundation,  and they immediately caught my attention due to the claim of flawless coverage and extra-hyrdation (for mature skin). Now, i do not have mature skin, but i do face alot of issues older women tend to face like perpetually dry, sallow skin, and blotchyness.

My skin isn't clear enough to only wear a light foundation, but most powders only make my dry, flaky skin look even worse, especially considering i tend to be a little heavy handed with powders.

I've been using a few other "mature" products lately, like Olay Total Effects cleansing cloths & Moisturizer, and i've already noticed a big improvement. I feel the extra vitamins and mousiture in these products are seriously benefiting my challeneged complection. So i fugured, why not try "mature" foundation also?

I picked up a jar of L'oreal Age Perfect Makeup in Sun Beige at Walgreens for just under $17.00 (with tax). The packaging states that the makeup also includes Dermo-Peptide and Marine Collagen to "Help support skin by restoring elasticity and smoothness."

Ok, i'm stoked. Let's try it.

The first thing i noticed when applying it was that it indeed was surprisingly light. It also covered flawlessly, just as the commerical claims. I found that i could use it as a concealer as well, just by using a "dabbing" motion on trouble spots, rather than "sweeping," as the package recommends.

The end result was a flawless finish that matched my skintone so perfectly, i didn't look like i was wearing any makeup at all! My skin looked dewy, instead of cakey. It didn't amplify any of my drin spots either, it atually cobcealed them! It dires to a greasless, satin-like finish, so no setting powder is required!

All in all, i think this a fantastic product, and i recommed it to anyone with similar skin issues to mine!

Pros: - Great coverage - Very light & smooth - No "shimmer" in the product - Big jar - Comes with a great foundation brush - Built in SPF 12
Cons: - Go lighter above the eyes, can crease in that area if you're not careful
Review on: L'Oreal - Quickstick Foundation
I picked this up at walgreens because it was buy one get one free. It blended well as I put it on and stayed on eventhough I have super oily skin. I like the fact that it isn't messy and comes in the form of a stick.

Pros: Stays on and gives great coverage
Cons: none.

What a great foundation. Lasts all day, looks so natural on and the colors are wonderful. Makes my skin look positively flawless all with spf to boot! Awesome product, will always repurchase.

Pros: Looks flawless on, is light, easy to use and lasts all day, what more could you ask for?
Cons: None.
Review on: L'Oreal - Quickstick Foundation
I love Loreal Quickstick! I have oily skin and this is the only foundation that works for me. I love how it comes in a stick as well, it is so much easier to use. Have been buying this product for years  :o)

Pros: Great for oily skin
Cons: A little pricey
Review on: L'Oreal - Quickstick Foundation
I love L'oreal Quickstick! However, I don't use it as a foundation or concealor, but as an eyeshadow base. It makes even the cheapest of e/s last all day, and it's quite economical as one tube lasts forever. I've been using mine daily for 3 years, and I still have about half an inch left.

Review on: L'Oreal - Quickstick Foundation
I used Quickstick as my one and only foundation back in the day when it first came out and it was great for me then, more suited to oilier skintypes I believe. Now I have only converted it to an eyeshadow base (makes a great one BTW) as it is too much of a powdery finish for my drier skintype. Quickstick did a good job tho covering imperfections and providing a natural yet slightly matte finish.
